Single Award Drama & Performing Arts
Pupils will experience a range of areas of the performing arts industry and complete projects in:

costume design

performance skills

technical aspects of staging a performance

jobs in performing arts
Pupils will receive a brief from AQA in December of Year 11 and research, plan and produce a performance to meet the demands of the brief. This performance will be moderated in April or May of Year 11. This performance will form 40% of the Single Award GCSE. The remaining 60% is achieved through the completion of a portfolio of evidence which will contain the following elements:
