History is an option for pupils in Year 10 to choose if they wish to continue to study the subject in Years 11 & 12. The following CCEA Specification is taught and has proven very popular with the pupils.

Assessment
All pupils must sit two written papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2
- Paper 1 – 50% of marks
- Paper 2 – 30% of marks
- Coursework – 20% of marks
