All pupils in years 8, 9 and 10 (Key Stage 3) have the opportunity to develop and expand ICT skills using a wide range of computer based software applications, such as; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access.
Pupils are required to demonstrate, in a practical way, their competence in applying ICT skills appropriately to a range of tasks and problems.
Evidence of pupil achievement should include work drawn from a range of subjects, such as; Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, etc.
In Year 10 pupils are timetabled for two 35 minute periods of ICT and are entered for the CEA Key Stage 3 ICT Accreditation Scheme.
