The Science Department hopes to share with pupils an understanding of science and its application to everyday life.
The Department will:

Encourage an interest in science

Develop an understanding of science in the wider context
We shall develop the following skills:-
Numerical, literacy, scientific, manipulative, organisational, analytical, observation, questioning.
The Department has had a major refurbishment in 2006. This has given us two of the most up to date laboratories in the Board Area. They are roomy, well equipped and have their on computer suite as part of the room. This has allowed the Department to explore more general aspects of Science. Pupils can produce well presented documents for their own use or for examinations.
