NCHS Raise Funds for a Bulgarian Orphanage @ Tesco
NCHS pupils were involved in a bag pack at Tescos on Friday 15th January from 10.00am to 6.00pm. These pupils should be congratulated for their hard work and effort. It was an extremely successful event raising just over £1800 in total. Every pupil worked a full 8 hour shift with limited breaks throughout their shift.
Pupils involved were Nadia Cadman, Meghann Chambers, Craig Carson, Stuart Crawford, Jordan Woolway, Ashleigh Wright, Natasha McQuade, Andrew Lee, Kyle Hope, Beverly Mitchell, Stephanie Keilty, Chelsie Hughes, Caprice Flanagan, Danielle Conville, Taylor Long, Sommer Leigh Mitchell, Grant Bassett, Hayley McAree , Natasha Kelly, Ashley Houston and Victoria Moore.
Despite a few sore backs and some tired legs every individual pupil maintained a positive attitude. They showed a vast array of skills throughout the day including customer service, communication, problem solving, decision making and time management skills. Each pupil proved reliable and determined to see the job through despite a long hard day! Pupils were commended by staff at Tescos and customers for their attitude, hard work and personal presentation. They were a credit to themselves and the school. Well done to everyone involved!
