Parent Contract
Parents/Guardians/Carers - I/we agree to:
- Support Newtownabbey Community High School’s Code of Conduct and the school’s policy on behaviour.
- Ensure that the child wears the correct uniform at school and to and from school.
- See that the child attends school regularly and punctually.
- Provide a note to explain any absences from school; arrange whenever possible routine check-ups for the child after school or in the holidays.
- Take family holidays outside school terms.
- Attend parent/teacher meetings to discuss the child’s progress.
- Support the child’s homework programme.
- Inform the school whenever possible about any important concerns or problems that might affect the child’s work or behaviour at school.
- Encourage the child to achieve her/his potential by making the most of opportunities at Newtownabbey Community High School.
